Design a complete adaptive AI system from the inside out. This is Lesson 1 of 2 in the GameSense sequence (AI2_5 and AI2_6) – a fully resourced design challenge where students engineer a smart AI game coach that adjusts to different players in real time.

Students investigate how GameSense uses player data to identify when someone is struggling or needs more challenge. They then complete a structured design brief to plan how the system collects inputs, makes decisions, and produces fair, helpful outputs. Using real-world constraint cards, they adapt their designs to cope with challenges like low-spec devices, no internet, or privacy rules - just like real AI engineers.

The lesson includes detailed worksheets at two levels, worked examples, scaffolded support, and a classroom-ready presentation that walks you through every stage of delivery.
